DEVASTING BLOW...Continue to Pray for Pastor Saeed Abedini as the appeals court in Tehran rejected his appeal and refused to reduce his 8 year prison sentence because he refuses to deny his Christian faith. It's almost ONE year since American Pastor Saeed Abedini was sentenced to Iran's notoriously brutal Evin Prison. We learned that Pastor Saeed's abdominal injuries - sustained from intense beatings - are causing him excruciating pain. He takes medicine prescribed by Iranian authorities that does nothing to help; he must be returned home to doctors in the USA and to his family!.
On September 26th – the one-year anniversary of his imprisonment – Pastor Saeed's wife is organizing prayer vigils for him in nearly 50 cities all across America and in dozens more around the globe. Nearly every state in America is already represented, and new events are being added every day. Please pray, attend a vigil, and urge your friends to participate. Pastor Saeed needs our support.

Our Missionaries
Michael & Evangeline St. Clair continue to request your prayers for the Philippine Church - Utap. It needs help in developing a path forward. Evangeline is still there and working hard in discipleship.
Jim & Annie Leonovich who are doing missionary work in the Ukraine! We pray the Lord will use them to disciple many and bring glory to God through their work.
Jeanne Drehmer is under Hospice care at home and needs our prayers. Her condition is serious, pray for Jeanne and for her devoted husband Phil. They are such a wonderful, serving couple in our church family.

ReplyDeletePraises to the Lord as LaReign Hodge's doctor said 5 hour surgery was extensive but successful. She may be in hospital for a week. Continue to pray for complete healing.
