Special Prayers Our Missionaries
OUR PASTORS in GUINEA BISSAU need SPECIAL PRAYER COVERING! Guinea Bissau borders Guinea, Liberia & Sierra Leone where the EBOLA VIRUS outbreak is critical. Over 950 people have died. We faithfully and humbly give monthly support to Pastor Marius, Pastor Fona, Pastor Hiskey and Pastor Tony and also to God's Word Church. Our ties to each of them are precious and our support in prayer is critical. We can not ignore our brothers & sisters in Christ who sacrifice so much for the Kingdom. PRAY FOR THEM throughout the day and when you awaken in the night. PRAY FOR PROTECTION.
UKRIANE is crumbling, people fleeing as they have no supplies, no electricity, no medical care. We need to continue to lift our brothers and sisters in Christ who are in the Ukraine under attack. Our missionaries Jim & Annie Leonovich are in daily contact with the supported churches and Pastors. It seems to be getting worse each day but GOD IS IN CONTROL.
Evangeline Byrnes-St. Clair is still in the Philippines continuing her aide to the church and city that needs rebuilding after the devasting typhoon. Evangeline works tirelessly, always giving God the glory and thanking Him for the opportunity to serve Him in her country. Pray for her strength, financial support and health.
Praying for Comfort, Health, Healing, Recovery & WisdomUrgent Prayer needed for Christians in Iraq
Thousands are fleeing the terrible advancement of ISIS takeoverand are without food, water, shelter or medicine.
Christians are being persecuted and and asked to convert or die.
Islamic militants have eradicated virtually every trace of Christianity from Mosul, Iraq’s second
largest city, Nina Shea, director of the Hudson Institute’s Center for Religious Freedom, said July 23. “There are no Christians left in Mosul,” Shea told CBN News. “They have all been driven out. They have been told to convert to Islam or die, or to leave.”
Shea, who formerly served as vice chair for the U.S. Commission on International Religious
Freedom, said fighters with the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) marked the property of
Christians in Mosul with the Arabic word “Nasrani,” or “Nazarene” -- a clear reference to
Christianity. Christian property owners were then driven out.
Last month militants offered Christians in Mosul the opportunity to enter into a dhimma, an
agreement which would have allowed them to practice the Christian faith behind closed doors
after they paid a hefty tax and agreed not to proselytize. However, multiple sources in the region
said that offer was later withdrawn and all Christians were told to leave or face execution.
WE HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY !
PRAY - PRAY - PRAY
"The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16).
