Family Life of Desert Springs

FAMILY LIFE - sharing the heart of our church family; prayers, praises and important announcements.  Be sure to check-in often to see what is happening and how you can provide support by extending the love, comfort and compassion of Jesus!

If you have a prayer request or praise, please submit by clicking on the link below or contacting Laura Keener, Frontline Director at 760-568-3646. lkeener@desertspringsfamily.org

Phil Lopiccola, a wonderful man of God, husband, father & friend has gone on to the arms of Jesus.  His wife Lorraine is trusting in the Lord for comfort and peace, as this was quite sudden with no warning. She believes in God's perfect plan for Phil and is thankful he did not have to suffer.  Phil was just 67 years young and a part of our GO!Team. A servant for the Lord, now getting his eternal rewards.

We Give Thanks...
The bake sale raised over $1400 which will help pay for children of families who can not afford to attend VBS "iPray" this June. We don't want any of our kids, grandchildren or their friends to miss out on this great weekend of teaching the importance of prayer!

We Pray for Health, Healing & Recovery...

We Comfort...
Larry Largent's brother passed away.  We offer prayers of comfort and peace to Larry & Kristin who are such a dear part of our Desert Springs family.

We Reach Out...
"Shelter from the SUN" - please join in our donation drive for the homeless; collecting items to help protect them from the hot summer sun. You can pick up the list of items needed or email lkeener@desertspringsfamily.org .

Continue to pray with us as we finalize details with the Narrow Door Ministry  to feed the homeless of Palm Desert.  We plan to serve dinner one night a week, hand out hygeine kits and share the love of Jesus!

  1. Pastor Ashley's grandfather passed away this morning. The family will travel soon to the Chicago area for services. He loved the Lord and is finally really HOME. Please lift Ashley and her family up in prayer.
