Special Prayers for Ukraine
We ask that you join in prayer for our Christian brothers and sisters and the people of Ukraine who do not want to go under Russian rule. Our very own missionaries to the Ukraine, Jim & Annie Leonovich, are keeping close tabs on the situation. Next Sunday, March 9th they are bringing in Pastor Peter direct from the Ukraine (pray for safe travels for Pastor Peter) to share what is really happening and allow us to pray for him and his country.
Desert Springs Church Pictorial Directory! Be part of our first church pictorial directory, this if for anyone who considers Desert Springs their home church (snowbirds included).
Lifetouch professional portraits are scheduled for March 13, 14 & 15 and March 20, 21 & 22. It's easy to set your appointment online, just go to our website www.desertspringsfamily.org and click on the banner that says Pictorial Directory.
Photo's are taken in the Family Room and by taking part you will receive a FREE 8x10 portrait and a FREE church pictorial directory. There will be an opportunity to purchase additional portrait packages but no obligation.
DESERT SPRINGS GARAGE SALE!
Saturday, March 29th. Please drop off your items on Thursday, March 27th from 9am-4pm. All items MUST be in good, working condition and any clean clothing brought on hangers if possible. No undergarments, cosmetics, toiletries, sleepwear, etc.

It's so exciting to announce our first mission trip to Baja, Mexico in June 2014. If you are interested, give me a call and I'll get a brochure to you that gives you all the details, price, etc. There are many ways you can serve on this trip and make a real difference!

Please pray for Pete & Janet Donovan's daughter who has just found out she has breast cancer.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your prayers for my sister Karen who had extensive back surgery a few weeks ago. She is in a rehabilitation center now but hopes to return home next week. Still pain issues but at least getting stronger day by day.

Thank you for your prayers for my husband Fred who had a neck rhyzotomy this week. The Dr. feels it will help his neck pain and migraines (he has had 2 neck fusions in the past). Believing for the best!
